About
As the founder of Storyline Counseling & Wellness, and a clinically Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington, I feel deeply honored to be invited into peoples unique stories, helping them to listen to and sort through the heartbreak, shame, disappointment, and failure that they might be feeling. My passion is to empower clients to live more integrated lives, by helping them to navigate their stories of harm with kindness and self-compassion instead of shame. I consider it a gift to have the opportunity to walk alongside you in whatever storyline you find yourself, in order to help you feel less stuck, and move towards greater freedom, wholeness, and hope.
I received my training at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where I earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I am also certified in Life Span Integration.
My experience includes working with couples, groups and individuals of any age. I typically work with parents, teachers, leaders, artists, and young adults. My specific interests and specialties include trauma, family of origin issues, identity development, anxiety, depression, shame and relationship issues. I also value walking alongside clients who are in transitional seasons of life, as I believe these are often the seasons when our identity is challenged the most.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog, baking a nice artisan loaf of bread, drinking a hot cup of tea, and reading a good story.
I look forward to hearing from you.
