About
I specialize in treating trauma and its consequences, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, chronic pain, and relationship stress. I’m trained in a variety of evidenced-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
With regards to my psychedelic work, I collaborate with clients to figure out what approach is best for them, while also being flexible as the medicine moves people to different psychological spaces. As a cisgender, gay, mixed race man, I recognize the importance of psychological safety and power differential when using psychedelics. Whether am I in the room during a medicine session, or talking with a client afterwards for integration, trust and safety are tantamount to making progress with psychedelics. I welcome queer individuals from all walks of life and relationship statuses in my work.
