About
I believe that each of us deserves to live life as our best self. Often, shame and judgement about our problems can get in the way of solving them. Developing compassionate curiosity is key creating change in our lives. I believe that therapy can be a bridge to increased satisfaction and a sense of well-being. Undertaking therapeutic work in a safe, caring environment can allow you to understand yourself and your feelings, manage your stress, and change your strategies for coping. I am privileged to be involved in such important and transformative work.
I take a client-centered, trauma informed, integrative approach, believing that the therapeutic alliance is key to positive change. I draw on multiple theories (cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, ecological, feminist, humanistic) to understand my clients in the context of their lives. This allows me to tailor interventions to my clients’ unique set of circumstances.
I am a native San Diegan, a veteran, and proud to give back to my community. I have specialized education and training in gender & human sexualities, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, and integrative behavioral health.
I am currently providing preparation and integration services via telehealth for clients in California and Oregon.
